SENCO
to join their team from April 2025. This is an exciting opportunity to lead and support the delivery of high-quality provision for students with special educational needs, ensuring that every child receives the personalized support they need to thrive.Role Highlights:
Full-time, permanent position at a
brilliant primary school
in EalingLead and manage the SEN provision across the school, ensuring effective strategies are in place to support students with a range of additional needsWork closely with the senior leadership team, teachers, and support staff to develop and implement individualized learning plans (ILPs)Oversee the assessment and monitoring of students with SEN, ensuring progress is tracked and appropriate interventions are in placeProvide guidance, training, and support to staff to enhance their understanding of SEN and inclusive teaching practicesBuild positive relationships with parents, carers, and external professionals to ensure the holistic support of studentsEnsure compliance with all relevant SEN regulations and frameworks, maintaining a focus on inclusive practiceLead and support staff in the creation of an inclusive and nurturing learning environment where every child feels valued and able to succeedExperience and Qualifications:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalentExperience working as a SENCO, ideally in a primary school settingA deep understanding of the SEN Code of Practice and relevant statutory requirementsProven ability to lead and manage SEN provision, with a strong commitment to inclusive educationExcellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skillsA proactive approach to problem-solving and supporting students with diverse needsEnhanced DBS check requiredWhy Join Us?
