Production Operative / Tube CutterType: PermanentSalary: £14.00 per hour Location: Hayes areaHours: Monday to Thursday 7.30am 4.00pm and Friday 7.30am 3.00pmWe are recruiting for our client, an established specialist manufacturing business, who is looking for a practical and reliable Tube Cutting Production Operative to join their busy engineering team.This is a varied, hands-on position involving the preparation, cutting and machining of metal materials to customer requirements, alongside general stock, quality and dispatch duties. It would suit someone who enjoys practical work, takes pride in accuracy and is comfortable working with machinery in a manufacturing environment.The Role: Cutting and preparing metal tube and related materials to specified requirementsUsing workshop equipment including saws, lathes and other machineryCarrying out basic machining, finishing and de-burring workChecking materials for condition, quantity and accuracy before processingRecording materials used and updating stock informationAssisting with goods in, stock checks and the movement of materialsSupporting other production areas when requiredPreparing delivery paperwork and ensuring relevant documentation is available for outgoing ordersOrganising workload to help ensure customer orders are completed to agreed timescalesCarrying out routine cleaning and basic care of workshop equipmentReporting stock shortages, damaged materials or production issues to the appropriate team Essential ..... full job details .....
