Junior Quality EngineerWelham Green£25,000 - £30,000 per annumDavall Gears are an esteemed UK specialist in the design and production of precision gearing systems and gearboxes.The RoleTo support the Quality Department in ensuring that manufactured products and processes comply with internal, customer, and regulatory requirements. The Junior Quality Engineer assists with inspection, documentation, non-conformance resolution, and quality improvement activities under the guidance of senior quality team members.Key ResponsibilitiesQuality Control and Inspection Support:Assist with the review of product inspection reports and documentation (e.g. first-off, in-process, and final inspection).Support the compilation and submission of First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs) in accordance with AS9102.Help ensure quality records are accurate, complete, and properly archived.Non-Conformance Management:Log and track internal and supplier non-conformances (NCRs) within the quality management system.Support root cause analysis and corrective action processes (e.g. 5 Whys, Fishbone diagrams) under supervision.Follow up on action closure and effectiveness monitoring.Documentation and Compliance:Assist with the maintenance and control of quality documents, procedures, and work instructions in line with AS9100 requirements.Participate in internal audits by providing data, records, and assistance to auditors.Help ensure compliance with ITAR and customer-specific quality requirements as ..... full job details .....
