This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled mechanical engineer with a background in heavy plant, commercial vehicles, or HGV maintenance to join a company offering long-term stability and career progression.Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs on a fleet of heavy plant equipment.Diagnose and fault-find mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical issues.Service and repair a range of machinery and commercial vehicles.Complete inspections and ensure all equipment meets safety and compliance standards.Work closely with the operations team to minimise downtime and maximise equipment availability.Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.RequirementsPrevious experience as a Heavy Plant Fitter, HGV Technician, Plant Mechanic, or similar.Strong mechanical fault-finding and repair skills.Experience working on heavy plant equipment, commercial vehicles, or HGVs.Knowledge of hydraulics, diesel engines, transmissions, and braking systems.Relevant engineering qualification (NVQ, City and Guilds, or equivalent) desirable.Full UK Driving Licence.What''s On OfferCompetitive salary package.Regular overtime opportunities.Company pension scheme.Ongoing training and development.Stable and secure employment within a growing ..... full job details .....
