This role is ideal for individuals looking to begin or develop a career in tutoring, SEND, or alternative education.You will work 1:1 with learners who may have SEND, SEMH, ADHD, or who are disengaged or excluded from mainstream education. Sessions take place in community-based settings such as homes, libraries, learning hubs, or alternative provisions.Mandatory Training RequirementAll Trainee Tutors must complete a compulsory training programme before working independently:30-45 hours of structured trainingLearning modules, guided tasks, and assessed activitiesCovers SEND, SEMH, ADHD, safeguarding, trauma-informed practice, and nurture-led tutoringOngoing support throughout trainingKey ResponsibilitiesDeliver 1:1, nurture-led tutoring to children and young peopleSupport engagement, emotional regulation, and learning progressPlan and adapt sessions in line with individual learning plansBuild positive, trusting relationships with learnersMonitor progress and communicate with families and professionalsWork flexibly across community and alternative settingsRequirementsEssentialPatient, calm, and empathetic approachStrong communication and relationship-building skillsWillingness to complete the full 30-45 hour training programmeReliable ..... full job details .....
