OverviewWe''re looking for Associate Occupational Therapists to join our Therapy team.

Enjoy flexible hours, additional income and the freedom to thrive while contributing to our trusted, Therapy Service. We do ask for a minimum of one clinic day per week (9AM-5PM) to support continuity of care for our clients.

About the roleAs an associate OT, you''ll be helping children, young people and adults to live their best lives by delivering bespoke interventions based on individual needs. Depending on your location, you may be working in a clinic, school, college or home setting with your clients.

Qualifications and requirements

A minimum of 2 years experience (post-qualification and competencies).

An Occupational Therapy degree (approved by the HCPC and RCOT).

HCPC registration (with no restrictions or active investigations).

RCOT membership or independent public liability insurance.

Strong organisational and communication skills with worked experience of proactively managing own caseload.

Access to and evidence of supervision, in line with HCPC guidance.

Qualifications in Sensory Integration are highly desirable.

What you\''ll be doing

Delivering occupational assessments, reviews and therapy to children, young people and adults using a collaborative and holistic approach.

Observing and assessing children, young people and adults to gain information around their specific difficulties and the impact of these.

Planning, developing and delivering creative successful interventions and programmes based on the individual’s needs in collaboration with other healthcare professionals.

Liaising with the Owl Centre team, staff and parents/guardians.

Managing a caseload while taking into account priority cases, waiting lists, measuring successful outcomes, referral and discharge of clients.
