OverviewAs our Clinical Unit Manager, you''ll take full responsibility for the effective operation and delivery of the nursing team and work in conjunction with the Home Manager and Deputy Manager to recruit and train the nursing staff. You''ll ensure nurses adhere to laws, and infection control plans are implemented and recorded. You''ll attend management meetings to discuss the status of nurse staff and our residents. Your duties will include: supervising nursing staff, developing care plans for residents and completing compliance procedures.
Responsibilities
Take full responsibility for the operation and delivery of the nursing team, in conjunction with the Home Manager and Deputy Manager for recruitment and training.
Ensure nurses adhere to laws; infection control plans are implemented and recorded.
Attend management meetings to discuss status of staff and residents.
Supervise nursing staff; develop care plans for residents; complete compliance procedures.
Qualifications
Valid UK NMC PIN essential.

Shared responsibility with Home Manager and Deputy for selection, recruitment, induction and training, and regular appraisal of all staff on your unit.
Liaison with the Home Manager and Deputy to ensure effective operation of the Unit.
Monitor CQC standards and ensure effective delivery of quality of care; liaise with CQC inspectors.
Ensure that nurse staff receive regular supervision and training; follow company policy and procedures at all times.
Ensure an effective nursing rota is always in place.
Develop and keep up-to-date care plans delivering a satisfactory quality of life for all residents.
Maintain the highest nursing standards in line with best practice, corporate policy and regulatory guidance.
Benefits
£25.00 per hour
Hot meal provided on 12-hour shift
