Job Description:


  • Provideandnbsp;1:1 and small group supportandnbsp;for pupils with a range ofandnbsp;SEN, includingandnbsp;ASD,andnbsp;ADHD,andnbsp;speech and language needs, andandnbsp;social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) challenges
  • Assist in the implementation ofandnbsp;EHCPsandnbsp;andandnbsp;differentiated learning plans
  • Foster aandnbsp;positive, safe, and structured learning environment
  • Work closely with class teachers, theandnbsp;SENDCO, and external professionals to ensure consistent and effective support
  • Promoteandnbsp;independence,andnbsp;confidence, andandnbsp;emotional regulationandnbsp;in pupils
  • Support pupils during transitions, break times, and enrichment activities

The Ideal Candidate Will:


  • Have experience working with children withandnbsp;special educational needsandnbsp;(desirable but not essential)
  • Be patient, empathetic, and resilient, with a genuine passion forandnbsp;inclusive learning
  • Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Be confident in usingandnbsp;positive behaviour strategiesandnbsp;andandnbsp;sensory approaches
  • Be adaptable and reflective, with a willingness to learn and grow
  • Hold or be willing to obtain an enhanced DBS check
