This role is focused on minimizing downtime through effective maintenance, SMED activities, continuous improvement projects, and strict adherence to health and safety standards.Key Responsibilities;Carry out planned and reactive maintenance to keep machinery operating efficiently.Assist with process setup and participate in SMED activities to reduce downtime.Work closely with production teams to ensure smooth operations and equipment availability.Support and actively engage in continuous improvement initiatives, promoting best operational practices.Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant legislation (Health and Safety, Quality, Environment, HSE, COSHH, ISO 14001, etc.).Coordinate audits, review SOPs, and promote best practices in health, safety, and quality.Contribute to project work as required and support other sites when needed.Skills and Competencies;Qualifications: City and Guilds or equivalent in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.Ability to set up and adjust machines and processes using SMED.Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge, including basic PLC programming and fault-finding skills.Experience in assembling, dismantling, repairing, and inspecting metal parts, tools, and ..... full job details .....
