The Centre for Long-Term Resilience (CLTR) is an independent, non-profit think tank working to transform global resilience to extreme risks. With a focus on artificial intelligence, biosecurity, and the future of government risk management, we advise governments and institutions on policies that can reduce the world''s most severe threats. As we grow our impact and evolve as an organisation, we are now seeking to appoint a Director of Operations to join our senior leadership team and play a central role in shaping the future of our mission. This will be a critical and highly strategic position, reporting directly to the CEO and responsible for the leadership, oversight, and evolution of all operational functions across CLTR. The Director of Operations will act as a key advisor to the CEO and Board, ensuring operational excellence, legal and regulatory compliance, and financial rigour. They will lead a high-performing operations team, drive continuous improvement, and help steer the organisation through a phase of growth, innovation, and maturity. The role spans the full operational spectrum, including internal systems and infrastructure, people and HR strategy, regulatory and legal compliance, financial oversight, risk management, and IT.
