Executive Business Manager to the Chief People & Culture Officer
Contract Type: Temporary (6 months)
Location: Hybrid (1 day a week in London Office)
Daily Rate: -192 - -231

Are you ready to take on a pivotal role in advancing the People & Culture strategy of a leading charity. We are seeking an Executive Business Manager to support the Chief People & Culture Officer (CPCO) for a six-month secondment. This unique opportunity will allow you to contribute to the delivery of strategic objectives while gaining invaluable insights into the alignment of People & Culture initiatives with broader organisational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with the CPCO, gaining a comprehensive understanding of their portfolio and its complexities.
  • Partner with the CPCO''s Executive Assistant to manage schedules and upcoming commitments effectively.
  • Autonomously undertake projects, demonstrating sound personal judgement within set parameters.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with the Executive Team, Board of Trustees, CEO Office, senior managers, colleagues, and employee representatives.
  • Develop draught documents and materials to support the CPCO''s initiatives.
  • Work with the People and Culture Senior Leadership Team to ensure the successful delivery of strategic objectives.
  • Handle complex and sensitive issues with discretion, seeing them through to resolution with minimal guidance.
  • Provide expertise to enhance directorate processes and improve ways of working.
  • Assist the CPCO in internal meetings, including research, pre-briefing, and follow-up actions.
  • Track and report on key deliverables, ensuring timely alignment and engagement across the organisation.

  • Ability to influence and secure commitment from diverse stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of organisational development and strategic planning processes.
  • Proficiency in analysing data and identifying trends.
  • Strong judgement skills for critical appraisal of complex information.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative team spirit.
