This role supports customers across manufacturing, retail and logistics, delivering transport solutions from single pallets through to nationwide distribution.Key Responsibilities Resource and allocate loads daily, achieving best possible marginsSchedule deliveries in line with customer expectationsProactively source additional work via transport trading platformsBuild and maintain relationships with new and existing customersMaintain regular communication with subcontract hauliersMonitor delivery performance and manage any delaysWork to operational KPIs and business targetsEnsure all information is accurate and up to date within the TMSParticipate in an on-call rota Skills and Experience Required Proven experience as a Transport Broker / Transport TraderStrong background negotiating transport rates with subcontractorsGood knowledge of UK transport legislation (drivers'' hours, WTD, vehicles)Detailed understanding of the UK general haulage marketStrong UK geographical knowledgeConfident communicator with excellent telephone skillsPC literate, with ability to learn transport management systems quickly What''s on Offer Competitive salary £34,000 - £38,000+Company bonus schemeCompany pensionAdditional leave entitlementFree on-site ..... full job details .....
