Murray McIntosh are searching for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to start work for a key client of ours on a permanent basis as detailed below: Responsibilities:Produce detailed designs using Solid Edge/Inventor CAD SoftwareLead mechanical engineering activities across several projectsStrong mechanical engineering background is essentialCarry out calculations, reports and produce compliance documentationPrevious defence industry experience would be preferredAct as design authority reviewing and approving design , calculations and specifications of team members Produce functional specifications, test plans, risk assessments, 3D models, 2D drawings and GAs etcExperience of hydraulics, lifting equipment or structural mechanical design is requiredFEA experience would be advantageousCandidates need to be eligible for SC clearance; if you are currently cleared that would be an advantage. ..... full job details .....
