Up to £75,000 + car allowance + benefitsAbout the Role:We are currently recruiting for a
Contract Manager
with strong technical expertise in MandE services, particularly with a background in
HVAC, gas systems, or mechanical infrastructure . This is a fantastic opportunity to oversee the delivery of facilities maintenance services across multiple high-profile academic and research sites.What You''ll Be Doing:
Leading a multi-skilled technical team across multiple campus sites.
Overseeing planned and reactive maintenance, ensuring compliance and service excellence.
Acting as the primary client liaison, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and long-term relationship building.
Promoting a strong health and safety culture through visible leadership and regular audits.
Managing performance against KPIs and SLAs.
Driving operational improvements and efficiencies.
Managing subcontractors, suppliers, and in-house engineers.
Supporting budget control and commercial delivery, including PandL oversight.
What You''ll Bring:
Note:
Applicants must have a technical/mechanical background for this particular role.
Proven experience managing hard FM services in a client-facing environment.
Strong knowledge of MandE systems, particularly
HVAC or gas/mechanical services .
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Experience managing CAFM systems, compliance, and contract reporting.
IOSH Managing Safely
(or an equivalent HandS qualification).
NEBOSH General Certificate .
HNC in Building Services Engineering
or a similar qualification.
Recognised engineering apprenticeship or trade background.
