Supply Chain Assistant
COMPANY DESCRIPTION, PROFILE AND SCOPE OF ROLE: Our client is a well-established high profile global manufacturer and a leader in their field. Known for their stable and professional working environment, they offer a great opportunity for someone with foundational supply chain experience to join a world-class team. This is a supportive role where you can develop your skills within a busy, innovative industry. KEY DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES: Day-to-day processing and tracking of purchase orders for both external suppliers and internal partners. Checking stock levels to ensure everything from standard inventory to custom orders is replenished on time. Help prepare the necessary documents for incoming goods and assist with standard customs and quality records. Maintain and update internal system (ERP) up to date, ensuring that item prices and details are correct. Act as main point of contact for suppliers to confirm delivery dates and solve any basic shipping issues. Work closely with the warehouse and customer service teams to provide updates on what stock is available. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES: Previous experience in a fast-paced purchasing, or supply chain role is required. IT Skills: Good Microsoft Excel skills are essential.
