Head of Corporate (Solicitor) | Boutique Mayfair Firm | London | £90k – £100k | Hybrid office/WFHA highly regarded boutique Mayfair firm is seeking an ambitious and experienced Senior Associate or Salaried Partner (7+ PQE) to step into the role of Head of the Corporate Practice.This is an exceptional opportunity to lead a growing department within a prestigious practice that boasts an impressive client base of high-profile and legendary names. You’ll inherit an established client base and have the platform to shape and develop the department mid- to long-term with genuine scope for equity partnership on successful performance.The role:Leading and growing the Corporate as Head of DepartmentManaging a steady flow of high-quality work from strong referrer networksHandling a broad mix of corporate matters including:MandA transactions (typically £5m–£20m, plus smaller and larger deals)Disposals and de-mergersCorporate restructures and joint venturesDrafting TandCs and ROE filingsPreparing legal opinionsExposure to offshore structures would be highly advantageousPlaying an active role in business development and expanding the Practice client baseYour expertise:Circa 7+ years PQE (or equivalent) in corporate law (relative to the above work)Strong track record in managing corporate transactions and advisory workConfident in building and developing long-term client relationshipsEnergetic, ambitious, and a natural go-getter with a hunger to succeedPrevious experience with corporate structures, ideally including offshore workKeen to establish and grow a department within a prestigious Mayfair practice.Ability to work autonomously dealing with excellent clientsWhy join the firm:Step into a leadership role with a ready-made workflowExposure to prestigious clients and complex, high-value workSupportive boutique culture and collaborative working environmentHybrid working model (2 days in office / 3 days WFH)Clear path to partnership and genuine equity prospectsThis is a standout career opportunity for a driven and ambitious solicitor ready to make their mark.
