Job Description:

• Supporting pupils withandnbsp;complex needs, includingandnbsp;physical disabilities,andnbsp;medical conditions, andandnbsp;sensory impairments
• Assisting withandnbsp;personal care,andnbsp;feeding, andandnbsp;mobility, ensuring dignity and respect at all times
• Deliveringandnbsp;individualised learning activitiesandnbsp;under the guidance of the class teacher and SENCO
• Usingandnbsp;PECS,andnbsp;Makaton,andnbsp;sensory stories, andandnbsp;assistive technologyandnbsp;to enhance communication and engagement
• Working closely withandnbsp;therapists,andnbsp;nurses, andandnbsp;familiesandnbsp;to provide consistent, wraparound support
• Promoting aandnbsp;safe,andnbsp;stimulating, andandnbsp;inclusive environmentandnbsp;where every child can thrive

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Have experience working with children or young people withandnbsp;PMLD,andnbsp;SLD, orandnbsp;complex needs (desirable but essential)
• Be patient, compassionate, and resilient, with a genuine passion forandnbsp;inclusive education
• Demonstrate excellentandnbsp;communication skillsandnbsp;and aandnbsp;team-player attitude
• Be confident supportingandnbsp;personal careandnbsp;andandnbsp;medical routinesandnbsp;(training provided)
• Embrace aandnbsp;growth mindsetandnbsp;and value ongoingandnbsp;CPD
• Be committed toandnbsp;safeguarding,andnbsp;dignity, andandnbsp;student-centred support
