Temporary Nursery Manager - Islington

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Nursery Manager to join a welcoming nursery in Islington on a temporary basis for an initial 3-6 month period.

This is an exciting opportunity for a confident childcare professional who can provide strong leadership, support the nursery team, and ensure the highest standards of care, safeguarding and early years practice are maintained.

As Temporary Nursery Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the nursery, leading and supporting the team, and creating a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment for children.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing the day-to-day operations of the nursery

• Leading, motivating and supporting the nursery team

• Ensuring high standards of safeguarding, health & safety and child welfare

• Maintaining strong relationships with children, parents and staff

• Ensuring the nursery meets EYFS and Ofsted requirements

• Supporting staff development and performance

• Overseeing planning, observations and children''s learning and development

• Managing staffing, rotas and resources effectively

We are looking for someone who is:

• An experienced Nursery Manager or an experienced Deputy Manager ready to step up

• Confident leading a team and managing nursery operations

• Knowledgeable about the EYFS and safeguarding requirements

• Organised, proactive and able to work well under pressure

• Passionate about providing high-quality early years education and care

• Available to start ASAP

• Able to commit to Monday-Friday for the duration of the temporary assignment

• 3-6 month temporary assignment

• Monday-Friday working pattern

• Islington location
