SF Recruitment is seeking an interim Financial Accountant to support a fantastic Birmingham based organisation through year end. This role requires an experienced Financial Accountant who has successfully navigated a complex year end close. This is an urgent requirement lasting 3 months requiring candidates who are immediately available. Key tasks: - Completion of month end activities e.g. opening and closing accounting periods, preparing prepayment journals and other ad hoc journals - Preparation/review of monthly accounts payable, accounts receivable and balance sheet reconciliations - Maintaining the asset register and lease models and preparing/reviewing monthly asset and lease reconciliations - Preparation of VAT and Tax returns - Preparation/review of and publication of statutory returns and transparency returns - Support the preparation of the financial statements and notes within the Accounts - Prepare and provide documentation to external auditors and working with them to resolve queries during the audit - Support the preparation of the final accounts - Support the analysis of current processes to identify and implement ways to improve processes and financial control Please get in touch if this sounds of interest. ..... full job details .....
