Senior Supply Chain Manager Liskeard Up to 70k Mon- Fri Perm My client based in Liskeard is looking to recruit an experienced Senior Supply Chain Manager with roughly 6 years experience doing the job role and within aviation/ aerospace. You will be managing a team of 15 individuals mainly within Liskeard but also other offices around the UK, which you will be required to travel to once a quarter. You will be someone who is optimistic, bubbly and someone who is fantastic at communicating with suppliers to ensure you get the best rates for supplies and turn around time. Day to day of the Senior Supply Chain Manager:Managing an experienced supply chain team, roughly 15 individuals across multiple branches.Travelling to other branches once a quarter to be with other members of your team that are not based in Liskeard.Handling the procurement and contract management with suppliers, ensuring you are getting the best rates and products in turn around time.Managing route cause analysis, ensuring you are an out of the box thinker to make solutions and find suitable back up supplies.Manage supplier/ manufacturing performance with rates, production, turn around times and availability.Readjusting processes and assessing suitable options to overcome hurdles and challenges.Partner with a range of teams such as engineering, stores and quality control team to assess production/ quality of products supplied.Requirements of the Senior Supply Chain Manager:At least 5 or 6 years experience ..... full job details .....
