Blue Arrow are currently recruiting for a Nightshift Shift Manager working in West Lothian. You will work in a busy manufacturing facility leading a team of 14 staff.The role is working 4 on 4 off - 12 hour shifts. The role is responsible for ensuring the management and delivery of key manufacturing metrics, encompassing safety, food safety and product quality, customer order fulfilment and service while controlling the direct costs of labour, materials and utilities. Be aware of site health and safety standards and ensure these are enforced throughout the area responsible.2. Complete accident investigations, fully participate in site safety activities.3. Manage the production ''clean as you go'' and good manufacturing procedures to maintain a safe, hygienic and efficient work environment. Participate in GMP audits and progress actions.4. Effectively manage a shift team of production personnel through delegation, coaching and support to deliver departmental KPIs and progress annual employee engagement metrics.5. Manage training and development plans for team members to ensure skills are aligned to operational requirements.6.
