CNC Turner Setter Programmer

CNC Turner Setter/ Programmer Salary up to £46K plus bonus, overtime and pension, plus many other benefits. Location West Byfleet. Our client is a successful global engineering manufacturing company. They are seeking a skilled CNC Turner to join their manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for programming, setting, and operating CNC lathes to produce precision components to tight tolerances, often working with exotic and high-performance materials. This role requires a strong focus on quality, accuracy, and efficiency in a high-spec engineering environment. This role reports to the Machine Shop Manager. Workshop-based precision machining environment. PPE is required at all times. Overtime and shift work may be required depending on workload. Skills and Experience required for the role of CNC Turner Setter Programmer: Proven experience as a CNC Turner. Experience machining exotic materials and difficult alloys. Ability to machine complex components to tight tolerances. CNC programming experience. Ability to read engineering drawings and GDandT. Understanding of tooling and machining strategies. Experience with inspection and quality processes. Strong attention to detail. Desirable Qualifications: Engineering apprenticeship or equivalent. Experience in aerospace, oil and gas or defence sectors. Familiarity with CAD/CAM software. Knowledge of lean manufacturing. Problem-solving skills. Self-motivated. Reliable and strong work ethic.
