Gumtree is hiring a Trainee IT Support Engineer on a 12-month fixed term contract. Location: London Waterloo. Hybrid working applies with 3 days in the office, 2 at home. Salary: £25,000 + company benefits.About the role

You’ll join a global IT team as the friendly face behind first-line IT support. You’ll help colleagues solve everyday tech challenges from password resets to account unlocks and more. You’ll assist with updating asset management and stock management systems, and work closely with HR on Joiner, Movers, and Leavers processes. You’ll learn when to fix directly and when to escalate, building your skills and confidence along the way. You’ll be guided by our Service Desk Analyst and have opportunities to participate in more complex projects that explore system dependencies and internal processes. You may also shadow our InfoSec specialist to gain exposure to cybersecurity and data protection.This is a launchpad role for individuals fresh out of college, completing an apprenticeship, or taking their first step into tech.
