Facilities Technician (Electrician) Location: Market Drayton Salary: £45,000 per annum Hours: 39 hours per week (8:30am - 5pm but can be flexible during the day) An opportunity has arisen for a qualified Facilities Technician (Electrician) to join an established engineering team. In this role, you''ll be responsible for electrical maintenance, installations, and fault finding across the site. This includes planned and reactive tasks, PAT testing, emergency lighting checks, and supporting plant operations. Key responsibilities include: Diagnosing and repairing electrical faults on plant and site equipment Carrying out electrical installations in line with IET Wiring Regulations Managing electrical safety and compliance, including permits and contractor oversight Supporting energy efficiency and site improvement projects Maintaining logs through CMMS (e.g. HolisTech) Requirements: Level 3 Electrical qualification and 18th Edition certified Industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience Strong fault-finding skills and familiarity with control systems, inverters, and PAT testing Good communication, planning, and teamwork skills This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced environment, ideal for someone with a proactive mindset and a strong safety focus.
