Hays are looking for a skilled and proactive Repairs Surveyor to join the Property Services team, focusing on complex disrepair and damp and mould cases across the London housing stock. Your new roleAs a Repairs Surveyor, you''ll play a vital role in diagnosing and resolving property issues that significantly impact the housing association residents'' quality of life. You''ll manage a caseload of disrepair claims and damp and mould reports, ensuring timely, effective, and customer-focused solutions.What you''ll need to succeed Conduct thorough property inspections to assess disrepair and damp/mould issues.Prepare detailed reports, including schedules of work and cost estimates.Liaise with legal teams on disrepair claims and ensure compliance with relevant legislation.Oversee contractors and ensure works are completed to a high standard.Provide expert advice to residents and internal teams on preventative measures.Maintain accurate records and contribute to continuous service improvement.Proven experience in a similar surveying role, ideally within social housing.Strong knowledge of building pathology, especially damp and mould diagnostics.Familiarity with disrepair legislation and housing standards.Excellent communication and ..... full job details .....
