BS Social Care are recruiting for several Children''s Support Workers and Senior Children''s Support Workers to work in a variety of placements with vulnerable children and young people in the local area. You will be required to support children and young people in a range of environments such as residential children''s homes, respite services and emergency placements on an ad hoc short-term and long-term basis. You will have the chance to work in new and exciting environments with children and gain valuable skills and experience that can be used to progress in your career! The role will involve - Working as part of an established staff team to delivery best quality care and support. Encouraging engagement with education and extra-curricular activities. Promoting positive and healthy relationships. Engaging the young people in social activities. Maintaining and completing paperwork in a timely manner. Acting as a positive role model. To be considered you must - At least 6 months paid experience working in a children''s residential setting. Level 3 children and young people qualification (desirable).
