We are seeking a London, ( Hybrid ) based

Senior Manager – Customer Engagement Strategy and Execution (CESE)

to lead a high-performing consulting team delivering impactful solutions to global life sciences clients.The Senior Manager will play a critical leadership role in shaping client strategy, overseeing complex engagements, and guiding multi-disciplinary teams to deliver high-quality outcomes. You will also contribute to the growth of the CESE practice through business development, mentoring, and thought leadership.This role focuses on enabling life sciences organisations to transform customer engagement, leveraging omnichannel and digital strategies, data-driven insights, and innovative execution models.About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments.A bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in life sciences, business, or a related field (master’s degree preferred).

At least 10 years of relevant experience in life sciences consulting, commercial strategy, or customer engagement.

Proven track record of leading teams of consultants and first-line managers, including recruitment, coaching, and career development.

Demonstrated success in business development including proposals, presentations, and client relationship management.

Strong expertise in customer engagement, omnichannel strategy, and digital execution in the life sciences sector.

Exceptional project management skills with the ability to oversee large, multi-country and multi-disciplinary projects.

Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.

Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Teams).

It would be great if you also have:Knowledge of market access, pricing, or portfolio strategy to complement engagement work.

Experience with global life sciences projects, covering Europe, US, APAC or LATAM.

A strong industry network and ability to represent Clarivate at industry events and conferences.

Thought leadership contributions (e.g., publications, conference speaking, white papers).

What will you be doing in this role?Lead and mentor

a team of consultants and managers, providing coaching and supporting their professional development.

Oversee large, complex customer engagements , managing multiple workstreams and ensuring excellence in delivery.

Develop and refine methodologies

for customer engagement strategy and execution, ensuring innovative, data-driven approaches.

Drive business development initiatives , including proposal writing, client presentations, and networking to grow the CESE practice.

Collaborate with senior leadership

to shape practice strategy, set priorities, and allocate resources.

Serve as a trusted advisor to clients , providing actionable insights to improve commercial impact and customer engagement.

Build strong client relationships

and identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling Clarivate’s broader consulting offerings.

Represent Clarivate Consulting externally , enhancing the visibility and reputation of the CESE team.

Customer Engagement Strategy and Execution (CESE)

team is a growing, international group of consultants working under the leadership of a Senior Director, based in London. Our team currently includes 7 consultants and managers across London, Spain, Germany, the US, and India.We combine deep consulting expertise with real-world industry experience to help life sciences companies design and deliver more effective customer engagement strategies.Our strengths include:Omnichannel engagement and digital messaging
