This is a key role within the business, where your commercial insight and technical knowledge will directly influence project success and future workload.Role ResponsibilitiesPreparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for mechanical building services packages from tender through to submissionAnalysing drawings, specifications and tender documentation to identify scope, risk and resource requirementsProducing detailed take-offs for mechanical installations, plant, pipework and associated systemsLiaising with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain and evaluate quotationsSupporting value engineering initiatives to improve competitiveness and marginIdentifying commercial risks and pricing accordinglyWorking closely with project managers and pre-construction teamsContributing to bid strategy and tender reviewsRequirementsProven experience as a Mechanical Estimator within an MandE or building services contractorStrong understanding of HVAC, ..... full job details .....
