Job Overview

We are looking for compassionate, reliable, and dedicated Live-in Care Assistants to provide high-quality, person-centred care to individuals in their own homes. As a Live-in Care Assistant, you will live with the client during your placement, offering practical support, companionship, and personal care to help them maintain their independence and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide personal care, including washing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Assist with mobility and safe moving and handling.
• Prepare nutritious meals and support with eating and drinking where required.
• Administer or prompt medication in line with care plans and company policies.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Assist with household duties such as cleaning, laundry, shopping, and meal preparation.
• Accompany clients to appointments, social activities, and outings.
• Monitor and report changes in clients'' physical or emotional wellbeing.
• Maintain accurate daily care records.
• Follow individual care plans and ensure all care is delivered with dignity, respect, and compassion.
• Adhere to safeguarding, health and safety, and infection control procedures.

Requirements

• Previous experience in care is essential
• A caring, patient, and compassionate nature.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and use initiative.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
• Flexibility to work on a live-in rota.
