We are currently recruiting for a Field Support Engineer for an exciting yet established software consultancy within the defence industry.

At the cutting edge of what''s possible the organisation itself plays a key part in providing analysis, analytics and decision support via a range of software solutions.

About The RoleA hands on role for someone who has excellent IT and Networking skills, you\''ll play a key part in working directly with customers on cutting-edge defence projects.

You\''ll be responsible for installing, configuring and testing various software solutions on client hardware systems, both remotely and in-person.

About You

You\''ll have excellent all-round IT and Networking skills (DHCP, fixed IPs, remote access, VPNs etc)

A customer-oriented approach with excellent communication and organisational skills.

Ability to effectively influence and negotiate with personnel at various organisational levels.

Ideally you\''ll have some experience with either Python, JSON, SQL or Unifi for example

Strong analytical, creative problem solving and planning skills to achieve results.

Ability to manage and create documents which are professional and articulate.

Ability to handle difficult and demanding customer environments.

Qualifications

Experience in IT/Networking Support roles, ideally within the Defence Industry
