We are currently seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team based in Leigh. The job is the delivery of Pallets/Kitchens/White Goods/Shower Screens in the Central and north of England. Manual handling is required so a good level of fitness required. Routines will vary and you will work with a 2nd man when required. A willingness to do the odd night out would be beneficial.Excellent customer service skills required as dealing face to face with customers.Shifts are generally 12 hours Monday to Friday from 6am - 6pmResponsibilities:- Safely drive a commercial vehicle to transport goods to designated locations- Load and unload cargo ensuring its safety and security during transit- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while drivingQualifications:- Hold a valid commercial driving licence (Category C)- Proven experience as a delivery driver or truck driver- Familiarity with box/curtain sided lorries and securing loads- Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record- Strong time management and organizational skills- Ability to work independently and as part of a teamIf you meet the above qualifications and are looking for an exciting opportunity as a Truck Driver, we would like to hear from you.
