Our commitment to a flexible and hybrid working cultureKey Accountabilities:Complete planned works and maintenance on the full range of systems and networks within the operating environmentRespond to faults and service outages and complete corrective maintenance in line with Arqiva standards policies and proceduresBe comfortable imparting knowledge to other engineers, including technical advice to other engineersContribute to the delivery of projects through the provision of technical advice, installation, end to end testing and commissioning support and service transitionImplement upgrades and modifications to existing systems and networksMaintain accurate records, documents and reporting of actions takenComplete testing and measurements to ensure compliance with regulatory, security, industry and customer requirementsRequired Expertise:Comprehensive knowledge of building and trouble shooting of IDirect networks including the use if Linux Command line.Working knowledge of the development, testing and maintenance of bespoke and COTS (Common off the Shelf) software/hardware for Broadcast, IP Network, IOT or corporate application depending on technical area of expertiseExperience with processes, standards and engineering practices related to monitoring and controlling (MandC)Comprehensive knowledge of networking principlesExperience of maintenance and fault resolution on complex media systems; supports root cause analysis to resolve complex or recurring problemsRequired Technical / Professional Skillset(s):Specialises in one or more areas of systems and equipment relevant to role such as RF systems, DVB, Analogue Radio, DAB, Microwaves, Sat Comms, Data Networks, Telecoms etc.;Comprehensive knowledge and experience in the techniques and applications of computer network systemsComprehensive knowledge of and able to apply Safety, Health and Environment legislation, policies and proceduresAble to conduct complex measurements
