Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias) - Mitcham

Our client is London based specialising in eco-friendly services and recyclingJob Role and Key Responsibilities:Support maintenance, repair, and continuous improvement of production equipment and plant infrastructure, with a focus on electrical systems (70%) and mechanical systems (30%), ensuring minimal downtime and maximum operational efficiency.Key Responsibilities:Diagnose, repair, and maintain electrical systems (motors, PLCs, control panels, sensors, circuits).Perform electrical PPM, fault-finding, and compliance with regulations.Assist with mechanical maintenance (pumps, conveyors, pneumatics/hydraulics).Participate in installations, upgrades, and inspections for both electrical and mechanical systems.Support energy efficiency and automation initiatives.The Ideal Candidate Will Have:Electrical engineering qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 3, HNC).Proven experience in a multi-skilled maintenance role.Strong electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skills.Basic mechanical knowledge and willingness to learn more.Experience with PLCs and industrial automation.Desirable Skills:17th/18th Edition wiring certification.Knowledge of Lean manufacturing/continuous improvement.Experience using CMMS.Mechanical qualification or formal training.Benefits Include:Competitive salary and overtime opportunities.On-call allowance.Training and development support.Pension and healthcare options.Free onsite parking.If you are interested in this exciting opportunity, please get in touch with us or ..... full job details .....
