Your responsibilities as Head of Finance

• Produce accurate monthly and annual financial reporting, including board packs and meaningful commentary
• Ensure statutory accounts and regulatory filings are completed in accordance with UK GAAP
• Build and maintain strong relationships with auditors, HMRC, banking partners and investors
• Provide commercial financial support to the Group CFO and wider leadership team
• Lead, mentor and develop the finance team while maintaining high performance
• Deliver financial control improvements and lead key projects across the business

What we''re looking for in a Head of Finance

• Fully qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA
• Strong background leading finance functions within the retail sector
• Excellent technical accounting knowledge, including UK GAAP
• Proven ability to manage statutory reporting and external stakeholder relationships
• Experience implementing financial controls and driving business improvement
