As Application Support and Development Engineer , you will be looking after PHSO’s key applications and databases, mainly built on Microsoft technologies such as Power Platform, SharePoint, Teams, and Dynamics 365. You’ll help improve and support these systems, develop new tools, and ensure everything runs smoothly.You’ll split your time between improving services, building new solutions, supporting users, and helping deliver projects. You will work closely with teams across the organisation to understand requirements and create systems that support efficiency.You’ll also be responsible for keeping systems secure, up to date, and well-documented. Sometimes you may need to work outside normal hours to support upgrades or maintenance.This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving problems, working with others, and making technology work better for everyone.Responsibilities
Look after PHSO’s key applications and databases built on Microsoft technologies (Power Platform, SharePoint Online, Teams, Dynamics 365).Improve and support systems, develop new tools, and ensure reliable operation.Collaborate with teams across the organisation to understand requirements and deliver efficient solutions.Maintain security, updates, and documentation; participate in upgrades or maintenance outside standard hours when required.Qualifications and requirements
Extensive experience with Microsoft technologies, M365 suite, Power Platform, Power Apps, Azure, SharePoint Online. Desirable: SQL Server and Power BI knowledge.Experience in an ITIL-aligned ICT team or knowledge of ITIL / Service Management.Ability to manage own workload and prioritise where necessary.Diversity, inclusion, and benefits
