Annual Salary: £28,385 - £41,782 pro rataLocation: CambridgeJob Type: Permanent, part-time (30 hours per week)Join a dedicated team as a Lecturer in Health and Social Care, where you will provide high-quality teaching and access to learning. You will play a crucial role in course design, development, and the expansion of the college''s programmes. Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Deliver inspirational teaching across a range of programmes, including potential evening, Saturday, and summer sessions.
Develop and maintain teaching materials on various online platforms.
Prepare and execute Schemes of Work and Schemes of Assessment.
Undertake administrative tasks essential for the effective operation of programmes.
Conduct standardisation, assessment, and internal quality assurance activities.
Act as a personal tutor, supporting learners in achieving their targets and providing feedback on their progress.
Assist in the recruitment and admission of new students and participate in promotional events.
Lead one or more programmes and contribute to curriculum development and new course initiatives.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Teaching/Training related qualification.
Relevant Health and Social Care/Health Science qualification to at least Level 3.
Maths and English qualifications at least Level 2.
Recent and relevant industrial experience.
Previous teaching experience in an FE environment is highly desirable.
Strong ICT skills.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate learners.
Good health record and willingness to undertake further training as required.
