Join Our Client''s Team as a Maintenance Engineer (Two-shift pattern)
Are you a proactive Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer with an electrical bias looking to make an impact in the manufacturing sector? Our client is seeking a dedicated individual to ensure that production departments, plant machinery, and site facilities are maintained in optimal condition. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a knack for problem-solving, this is the perfect opportunity for you!
What You''ll Do:
- Work a two-shift pattern, providing maintenance cover to production departments and swiftly attend to equipment breakdowns.
- Engage in preventive maintenance, ensuring machinery is maintained to OEM specifications.
- Conduct electrical fault finding, testing, and repairs.
- Support OHSE initiatives by prioritising health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Participate in continuous improvement projects, enhancing processes and systems.
- Mentor apprentices and co-workers, sharing your expertise and knowledge.
Key Qualifications:
- Recognised apprenticeship
- 18th Edition wiring regulations (desirable, not essential)
- Experience in a production environment, with knowledge of AC/DC motors, PLCs, and hydraulic systems.
- Computer literate, with excellent communication skills.
- A team player who can adapt to a dynamic work environment.
