Ref: 24739Are you an experienced Electrical Design Engineer looking to work on bespoke robotic and special purpose machinery within the life sciences sector?This is an exciting opportunity to join a technical engineering team developing robotic systems and custom machinery. You ll be involved across electrical design, machine safety, procurement, testing and commissioning, working closely with production and RandD teams.The Role: Design electrical control systems for robotic and special purpose machineryDesign and implement machine safety systemsProduce schematics, hook-up diagrams and production build instructionsCreate BOMs and material/manufacturing cost estimatesWork with purchasing teams and suppliers to source critical componentsCarry out feasibility studies for new products and technical innovationsSupport risk assessments and safe design practicesDevelop testing, installation and commissioning proceduresProvide hands-on technical support to manufacturing and RandD teamsWork across multiple projects while meeting agreed timelines The Person: 5+ years'' relevant Electrical/Electronic Engineering experienceDegree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent experienceExperience with SolidWorks Electrical, EPLAN or AutoCADKnowledge of relevant British, European and international standardsExperience designing systems around industrial or collaborative robotsUnderstanding of ..... full job details .....
