£17.64p/hr (£14.58p/hr during initial training)

Urgent: Full Time

We are looking for experienced quality inspector, who has experience using micrometers, verniers, operating CMM machines etc. working to tight tolerances.

This is working with a well-established down to earth aerospace company that has recently completed a huge recruitment process due to expansion and is now down to the last couple of spaces.

What you will be doing

• Using micrometers, verniers, gauges, CMM machines etc. to ensure products match drawings within accepted tolerances (micron tolerances).
• Ensuring relevant paperwork is completed
• Offering ways to improve processes where possible

Weekly shift rotation

• Days – Monday to Thursday 05:45 – 13:45 Friday 05:45 – 10:45
• Afternoon – Monday to Thursday 13:45 – 21:45 Friday 10:45 – 15:45
• Nights – Monday to Thursday 21:45 – 05:45 Friday 15:45 – 20:45

Your initial on boarding is on fixed day shift (average 2 – 4 weeks), then moved to the rotating shift pattern. While on boarding you will be on £14.58 then once on rotating pattern moved up to £17.64.

To be considered

• Able to read engineering drawings
• Inspection experience working to micron tolerances
• Able to commit to the rotating shift pattern
