Mechanical Day Shift EngineerLiverpool Street, City of London£50,000 per annum An exciting opportunity has become available for a Mechanical Shift Engineer to join an established building services and facilities management provider working on a prestigious commercial site in Liverpool Street, City of London.This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced mechanical engineer looking for a stable, long-term position within a professional site environment. You will join a dedicated on-site engineering team and be responsible for maintaining a wide range of mechanical and building services systems across the facility.The role operates on a 4 days on / 4 days off shift pattern, working day shifts only, providing an attractive work-life balance while offering the opportunity to work within a high-profile commercial environment.Key Responsibilities Carry out scheduled planned preventative maintenance (PPM) in line with site procedures and maintenance schedules. Respond promptly to reactive maintenance requests and breakdowns. Diagnose mechanical faults and complete repairs safely and efficiently. Undertake remedial and corrective works as required. Maintain and inspect Air Handling Units (AHUs) and associated equipment. Service and maintain Fan Coil Units (FCUs). Inspect and maintain pumps, including bearings, couplings and mechanical seals.
