About the Role:

An ambitious and forward-thinking secondary school near Winslow is seeking a talented and committed Science Teacher to join their well-resourced Science department from September 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity for an inspiring educator to teach across Key Stages 3 and 4, and potentially KS5, depending on experience and departmental needs. You will play a key role in shaping studentsandrsquo; understanding of scientific principles while fostering curiosity and enthusiasm for learning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics
• Adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of all learners, including those with SEND and EAL
• Promote a practical and inquiry-based approach to science using experiments, demonstrations, and digital resources
• Track and assess pupil progress using formative and summative methods
• Provide targeted support and interventions to help students reach their full potential
• Contribute to the development of departmental schemes of work and assessments
• Participate in whole-school CPD, events, and enrichment opportunities

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree in a science-related discipline
• Excellent subject knowledge and up-to-date understanding of the science curriculum
• Strong classroom presence with the ability to inspire and engage students
• Effective behaviour management and a proactive attitude towards supporting student progress
• Commitment to high standards, professional development, and collaboration
