EK Outreach Services is a specialist provider of one-to-one teaching for students who are unable to access mainstream school environments due to medical, emotional, or learning difficulties. We work with students who have Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), providing individualised support to meet their specific learning needs. Our goal is to offer high-quality education, giving students the tools and confidence to succeed despite the challenges they face in traditional educational settings. Our holistic approach ensures that students receive not only academic guidance but also emotional and social support, fostering both personal and educational growth.Responsibilities

Plan and deliver individualised Business Studies, Economics and Travel and Tourism lessons that are aligned with the student''s academic level and learning objectives.Promote understanding, engagement and motivation in students.Remain patient and flexible in the approach to learning by adapting lesson content and teaching methods to support students with SEND and other learning challenges.Track and assess student progress, providing regular feedback to students, parents, and staff.Possess excellent communication skills, and be able to work collaboratively with pastoral teams to ensure holistic support for each student.Maintain thorough records of lessons and progress in line with educational requirements.Qualifications and Requirements

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or significant experience teaching.Experience in some of the following areas is essentialExperience working with SEND students is highly desirable.Experience in teaching a variety of exam boards.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and inspire students in a one-to-one setting.Flexibility to work in various locations, including students homes or other designated learning environments.A valid DBS check (or willingness to undergo one).About EK Outreach Services
