As a Finance Assistant in a small team, you will play a crucial role in accurately processing the transactions of the company, supporting your team and other colleagues within the business. Key Responsibilities:1. Sales Ledger and Credit Control:Process payments on the relevant Sales Ledger account from the previous day''s Bank Statement. Ensure Customer payments received are allocated correctly.Respond to Customer Account queries in a timely fashion and collaborate with other departments or escalate to an appropriate Manager if requiredSend Statements and chase overdue Customer Debtor balances each week and collaborate or escalate as required to ensure payment is received as soon as possible after becoming due.Attend weekly Aged Debtors meeting for each Company you are involved with, update the follow-up actions and carry them out during the week2.
