Futures are looking to recruit a reliable and proactive General Operative to support day-to-day manufacturing and supply chain activities within a busy operational environment.This is a varied, hands-on role suited to someone who is flexible, safety-conscious and willing to support different areas of the business as required.Key ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will be responsible for: Preparing jigs and fixtures for production, ensuring they are clean, organised and ready for use when required.Supporting the supply chain and production teams with the movement, preparation and organisation of materials and components.Operating a Forklift Truck (FLT) safely to load, unload and move materials around the site.Delivering materials, components, jigs and fixtures to the appropriate production or storage areas.Assisting with the receipt and organisation of incoming goods and materials.Maintaining accurate and organised storage areas to support efficient material flow.Carrying out general housekeeping duties, ensuring work areas, stores and operational areas remain clean, tidy and free from hazards.Following all company health, safety and environmental procedures.Reporting damaged equipment, materials, jigs or fixtures to the appropriate supervisor.
