Head of Business Development - Connectors

HOME BASED with EMEA Travel Source Solutions are working with a unique, forward thinking and continually-growing organisation, manufacturing highly reliable electronic connectors for harsh and critical environments, to identify an experienced and technically capable Head of Business Development for their EMEA region. As Head of Business Development, you will line manage numerous Field Sales Managers as well as Applications Engineers, developing revenue across the design-in side of the business, working closely with clients on making these components integral to their overall systems. As such, the position is broader than simply driving sales, it also involves wider integration with product management, design and development teams as well as affiliated distribution networks. The Head of Business Development is very much a leadership role and requires someone with experience in leading technical sales teams (ideally internationally with a decentralised team spread across a region). Also, with responsibility for helping Applications Engineers in the design and development side, the Head of Business Development requires strong technical knowledge of electronics and, more specifically some form of connectors.
