Purchase Ledger Clerk

A leading distribution business based in Totton is currently looking to recruit a Purchase Ledger Clerk on a 6-month contract basis, with the potential for the role to become permanent. What will the Purchase Ledger Clerk role involve? Accurately processing approximately 50 supplier invoices per week, including handling some aged queries; Performing supplier statement reconciliations; Investigating and resolving historic invoice queries; Suitable Candidate for the Purchase Ledger Clerk vacancy: Previous experience in a purchase ledger or accounts payable role; Comfortable dealing with invoice discrepancies and supplier queries; Strong attention to detail and methodical approach to reconciliation tasks; A positive and team-focused attitude, with a willingness to support and be supported.
