Childrens Support Worker

Location: Longridge, Preston - PR£

Pay Rate - £13.50 per hour 

Immediate starts available!

Shift Pattern: Waking Nights 10pm-8am

Hours - 30hr or 40hr contracts available (3-4 shifts per week)

If so, our client has an exciting opportunity for you to join their residential team!

Childrens Support Worker duties include:

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 or 2:1 support to young people, including those with challenging behaviours
• Assist with personal care and daily living activities
• Implement and follow individualised care plans to meet the needs of each young person
• Ensure the safety and well-being of the young people at all times
• Support young people to engage with their education at Vetro Regional School
• Be available for full-time work

To be successful in this role, you will:

• Have experience working with children with complex needs
• Be patient, empathetic, and resilient in the face of challenging behaviours
• Be able to work independently and as part of a team
• Hold a current Enhanced DBS on the update service (or be willing to obtain one)
• Have the right to work in the UK
• Have a full UK driving Licence 
• Experience supporting children in a similar environment
