We are working with a number of inclusive and supportive secondary schools across Lewisham seeking dedicated Behaviour Mentors to provide targeted support to students who require additional behavioural, emotional and pastoral guidance. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced Behaviour Mentors, Teaching Assistants, Youth Workers, Support Workers, Sports Coaches and graduates looking to gain valuable experience within education. The Role As a Behaviour Mentor, you will: Provide one-to-one and small group support to students requiring behavioural, emotional or pastoral support Build positive and trusting relationships to encourage engagement, attendance and achievement Support students in developing confidence, resilience and positive behaviour strategies Work alongside teachers and pastoral teams to implement behaviour support plans and interventions Help students overcome barriers to learning and remain focused in lessons Support students during lessons, social times and transitional periods throughout the school day Promote a safe, positive and inclusive learning environment Monitor and report on behaviour, wellbeing and progress targets The Ideal Candidate We are looking for individuals who: Have experience working with young people in education, youth work, ..... full job details .....
