This role is ideal for someone committed to maintaining excellent standards of cleanliness and safety across serviced estates and facilities. Day-to-day of the role: Keep estates, blocks, and play spaces clean, tidy, and free from graffiti and litter, adhering to local cleaning and maintenance schedules.Report equipment defects, vandalism, graffiti, and communal repairs to the appropriate colleague or contractor.Collaborate with colleagues to address anti-social behaviour, including participating in monthly estate walkabouts to identify and address issues.Adhere to health and safety procedures, reporting potential hazards and ensuring areas are safe.Maintain and monitor refuse systems and equipment daily.Perform periodic cleaning tasks as scheduled with the Estate Services Area Manager.Conduct safety and security checks, promptly addressing any hazards.Perform non-skilled emergency lighting and fire alarm testing as scheduled.Provide cover for colleagues during holidays and sickness.
