Job Description:OverviewUnited Careers are seeking a professional HGV Class 2 Driver to work for our client based in Halsted, Essex who specialise in the distribution of Timber products.Purpose of the roleThe role of a driver within their company is to ensure their roof truss and joist products are delivered to their customers in a safe and timely manner. Overseeing the loading and unloading of goods along with promoting their brand and ensuring customer satisfaction.ResponsibilitiesSafely transporting goods to their customersOverseeing the loading and offloading of goodsObeying the rules of the road and following company safety regulationsInspection of the vehicles and cleaningMaintaining a good relationship with the customersFollowing accident procedures and reportingFinding the quickest and safest route to your destinationOther responsibilitiesTo ensure you are working hard and to the best of your capabilities at all timesDeliveries are made on time and in a safely manner at all times, whilst ensuring all driving legislations and company procedures are adhered to. Health and safety is followed on site and at company branchesGood communication, timekeeping and reliability.
